 I contacted them and they encouraged working with their pins.  Just that simple, seemingly innocuous modify, was the issue.  The file’ing trigger pins caused it to fall short.  All other factors within the reduce had been genuine Colt elements.   No troubles after that.  Are there marks on the protection lever? If it hits when closing, the
